Analize the needs of data transfer:

• Files that have to be transfered

• The volume (size) of data to be transfered

• The schedule for when the files have to be transfered

• The time required for transferring the files: (i) Calculated according to the band-width, the transferred distance and the packet loss rate ; (ii) As measured from actual performed transferd.

• The calculated minimal possible transfer time with TCP

• Evaluation of imlementation alternatives with Aspera to shorten the transfer time

 

The delivery is a recommendation for a solution implementation that will provide the required transfer times, including recommended band-width a recommendation if Aspera is required and the recommended Aspera solution and configuration.
